Bordeaux

Par 4 chemins…
Meetings / Workshops / Explorations around urban walking

With “Par quatre chemins…”, Bruit du frigo inaugurates the Passe Muraille invitations, a mix between artistic residencies and cultural seminars, inviting artists and researchers questioning the poetics of our contemporary territories to meet and experience together.

In this session, we welcome singular walkers, for whom the construction of itineraries is at the same time an act of creation, emancipation and exploration :

  • Joël Henry, General Secretary and co-founder of LATOUREX (laboratory of experimental tourism), who is committed to discovering new ways of going elsewhere. Born in 1956. Lives and works in Strasbourg.
  • Hendrik Sturm, Walking artist, walks in urban and suburban areas. He elaborates routes after field visits, completed by aerial photos and archive research. Born in 1960 in Germany. Lives and works in Marseille. Teaches at the School of Fine Arts in Toulon.
  • Denis Moreau, architect, works on the project banlieuedeparis, artistic work of long-term exploration of the Parisian metropolitan area. Born in 1970, lives and works in Ivry-sur-Seine, Saint-Denis, Paris and Marseille.
