A programme co-financed by the Interreg Sudoe Programme through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF)

Entitled “Relight” and coordinated by the Banco Santander Foundation, the project aims to identify innovative solutions for the revitalisation of tourism in rural areas across the southwest of France, northern Spain, and Portugal. This objective will be pursued through the design and implementation of pilot artistic and cultural initiatives developed in close cooperation with local stakeholders over the 2025–2027 period. The project also involves several partner sites in Cantabria (Spain), Coimbra (Portugal), and our french partners Les Abattoirs, Musée – Frac Occitanie Toulouse, and Frac Occitanie Montpellier.

Starting in June 2025, the Bruit du frigo team will work closely with this consortium to agree on a common methodology for proposing joint solutions. This European cooperation framework enables Bruit du frigo to devise a new experiment that will be rolled out in 2026 and 2027 in the rural area of Entre-Deux-Mers in Gironde, working closely with local stakeholders, social and cultural operators, local authorities and residents.
